After one and half years challenging star Darshan film is on silver screen. That is ‘Yajamana’ – a warrior for the farmers is this ‘Yajamana’ – Dr Vishnuvardhana ‘Yajamana’ had the business of pickles, this 2019 Yajamana has the ‘ground nut oil’ business in the center stage.

The swashbuckling stunts – five of them and three lovely tunes plus Srisha Kuduvalli cinematography lifts the film that is already proud of Darshan in the lead.

YAJAMANA – is a farmer according to Krishna protagonist of the film. In Hulidurga the ground growers are very strong. Krishna owns Nandi brand. When this particular village is not giving its agricultural production to Global Eagle Company headed by Anup Singh Thakur, the clash begins.

Krishna convinces his people on what happens when they surrender to multinational company – this is what Dr Vishnu had done in ‘Mathad Mathad Mallige’. The crook in the Hulidurga Mitayi Soori corrupt to Global brand and Krishna throws a challenge that he will grow to the level in his own home ground.

The Nandi brand of groundnut oil comes to Mumbai and herald a good business. In the court hall it also proves that Nandi brand is pure while Global Eagle brand of oil has 40 percent of liquid Paraffin.

It is not yet victory for Yajamana. He has to take on the tough Anup Singh Thakur now. In a scuffle the global eagle brand is demolished by Nandi brand oil.

It is a tailor made film for Darshan. His action is feast for fans. The dancing ability of Darshan is also impressive especially in Basanni Baa….song. He has shades of Dr Vishnuvardhana in this song.

Rashmika is ravishing once again. Tanya Hope has done a pretty good and she can keep hope for a bright future in her career.

Devaraj, Ravishanker, Anup Singh Thakur, Krishna Hebbal, Sadhu Kokila, Giri and others have done a neat work.

The music and cinematography adds wonderful push to the film ‘Yajamana’. Dialogues of Chetan Kumar are keeping in mind image of Darshan.

V Harikrishna and Pon Kumar of this 160 minutes ‘Yajamana’ could have reduced the film by 15 minutes – cutting off the comedy portions.

‘Yajamana’ is a film for this Zamana! Protect farmers, protest their crops.
